Facial Implants Chin Implant Augmentation

This 37 year old, 5' 2", 130 pound female patient presented with microgenia (small chin) with localized fat deposits of the neck & chin (submental) area. Dr. Zevon inserted a chin implant (McGhan small extended chin prosthesis) and performed liposuction of the neck & chin (submental liposuction.) After surgery, her upper and lower face are more balanced, and her chin and neckline are perfectly sculpted. The after photographs were taken 5 years after her surgery. Chin Implant Augmenation Surgery Photos

This 17 year old female patient presented with microgenia (small chin) and a nose with dorsal convexity and a poorly projecting tip. The bridge of her nose was rounded. After surgery, the bridge of her nose was straight and flat, and she had good tip projection, visible in the side view. A Spectrum size 1 chin implant was inserted to bring the bottom of her face into balance with the rest of her facial bone structure, visible in the oblique view.
